So Nitto Denko decides to stop making large polarizer films, maybe because it is a low margin product that anyone can make. Maybe they want to focus on higher margin products.

A potentially higher margin product could be large QD films, which they have been developing with QMC.

Nitto still making small and medium size polarizer films, but freeing up manufacturing capacity at its plant in Suzhou, China for making large QD films seems like a good idea to me.
