Cautious people are still going to look both ways before they cross the street. Rig counts and weather reports could be the green light and the TA is looking both ways before you jump out into traffic. Or you can just follow the heard (to the moon).

You are right caution needs to be taken at all times. But some times the rails on the train tracks come down and there is no train or a news report comes out that is positive and the stock gets sold off, hence the phrase sell the news.

I will say this, I like trading and interacting on boards that have knowledgeable people that know the fundamentals because I will admit that I don't have a clue. I like this board because of people like you that can shed another perspective on things.
