...the bad aroma is the reality of "the politics of self-interest" by all affected...It skews all rational action. If you don't put that into your investment equation...focusing on all the "statistics" and "science" will only lead your investment hypothesis astray... (i.e. believing it will happen, because it rationally should.)

There is very little rationality to the outcome without following the $ and those who benefit or lose.
