And nothing has been written since about Lehman's NOLs from anyone that is knowledgeable about NOLs. Doesn't that indicate that anyone with any true understanding of NOLs has not published anything in 6 years? If asked now, in this case I think Mr Brandt would agree that he was wrong about Lehman's NOLs.

Has the board made any attempt to acquire any kind of business to use the NOLs? No. There was discussion prior to exiting and the creditor committee decided to to go forward with such a plan when they shot down LAMCO.
