UEX has decided to UNLOCK its COBALT asset. Sprott has funded additional drilling for 35 holes at an average of 100 meters per hole to produce a maiden 43-101 on its West Bear property. See Nov 8th and 27th 2017 news releases on the UEX website. insert-text-here
Cobalt grades are usually quite low ( < 1% ) and a bi-product of Nickel. UEX's West Bear property appears to average 2.3% with one hit of over 9% Cobalt. Drill results suggests that this could a PURE COBALT play and at the depths of existing drill results is amenable to OPEN PIT MINING.
I hope that they UNLOCK by way of a Spin-off which is a distinct possibility they way that Pioneer (PSM) spun off UEX and then watched it climb to $9.00. Cobalt is needed to make batteries for the coming EV revolution. Uranium is required to fuel the nuclear plants that will be charging those batteries.
