Years ago shares were issued illegaly by someone in Florida who used to be involved with the the company. Way back then a judge ordered that the symbol for the stock could not be traded anymore and the shares could not be traded. A number of people got stuck with the shares. During that time there was a bank that would take the shares. I don't know if anyone took that rout to cash out.I asked my broker to void out the dead shares in my account. They said they can't just void out shares. After a number of years I pressed the broker to void them out because I got tired of looking at them in my account. I signed some papers and they voided them out. But the symbol still remained in my account with no shares in it.I would have to sign some more papers to get the symbol off my account. Some day I may do that.
