Regarding PIOE's upcoming annual financial report: My speculation.

What follows is purely my own speculation and just meant for your "entertainment". I prefer dealing with facts, but sometimes it is fun (at least for me) to try and guess future events. So, I will be curious to see if any are actually realized in the coming months.

I'm guessing that RCP is meeting right now with their lawyers and accountants to try and figure out the MINIMUM amount of information that they will be required to disclose in PIOE's upcoming 10-K. Not because of anything nefarious, but just to protect their clients info and privacy as much as possible.

I have already briefly checked out the last 10-K for Hennessy Advisors. If you would like to check it out yourself, here is the link: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1145255/000119312517360245/0001193125-17-360245-index.htm It runs some 85 pages long, so don't expect a complete analysis now. But starting on Page 55, it does contain the standard looking balance sheets with assets and liabilities, revenues and operating expenses. But don't forget RCP is majority owned by PIOE and so the real question is how will PIOE prepare its 10-K?

Below is a site that talks about financial reports of subsidiaries:

http://smallbusiness.chron.com/annual-report-guidelines-subsidiaries-80497.html

This website talks about a "consolidated financial statement". Here is where things can start to get complicated and this may or not be applicable to the PIOE/RCP combination. I am NOT an accountant, but if you start to read about consolidated financial statements you will see what I mean about this possibly becoming complicated.

Well, that's probably enough rambling for now.

P.S. I forgot to mention that being an OTC stock the reporting requirements for PIOE are quite different than it would be for a big board stock (NYSE or NASDAQ). But I guess we all knew that anyway?
