@DesertEagle - I'm not sure how long it actually takes to change an assignee on a patent. Normally, an attorney would have to file paperwork with the USPTO to have the assignee name changed. I'm assuming they have to put the necessary info together, file the papers, wait for the USPTO to respond, and then at some point, make the change. Like all things legal, it takes time to make it happen.
