lol, very obviously spring comes MUCH sooner there. And it's easy to be fooled by unexpectedly warm weather in January or February. Which goes away...
We had a real mess here a few years ago. There was a big warmup in mid-January. Temperatures were in the 60s for four or five days. Trees started to bud, and daffodils and tulips began to stick their heads out.
And then the cold returned and the daffodils and tulips died. Some branches of the trees never leafed that summer.
