It's when the company reduces it share count by x-amount . you might get 1 for 4 I have seen 1 for 10. your dollar amount stays the same buy stocks that reverse split often drift back down to what ever the share price was before it split. not good. not saying it will happen. but with our astronomical share count.. it could at some point. jmho
