This will need to be done for every new customer that wants to use the vending machine, correct? Yet the purpose of the vending machine was to reduce wait time. Requiring an employee to take time away from the register to help someone at the machine, creating longer lines, seems counter-intuitive, especially if there are a lot of people wanting to use the machine. Hiring an employee for the sole purpose of standing by the machine would also add additional cost.

If the machine registration process was the sole responsibility of the user, this could be avoided, but with a highly regulated product it sounds like having an employee there to go over the registration process and check IDs is necessary - and time consuming.

" Yes each customer will have to register the 1st time but after that no you simply log in thru the vein reader.
So the dispensary operator will not be required to simply stand around and work with machine customers only. We are also looking at an ap that will let a person do pre registration from the app and when you get to location you would be able to just see show ID and do final registration thus speeding up registration process. For now we are wanting the process to be as secure as possible so as it may seem that it is a slower process in fact after the sign up you will find it is faster for customer. Now like I said this may not be what all business owners want to do but many are showing interest and say it is very much what they see as enhancement to their business. I am sure that somewhere, someone said why go thru drive thru when you can just go in..but with some tweaking drive thru is very popular now.
