The news yesterday was fascinating in several areas. One of which is that UBC which has already been studying the molecule for macular degeneration now feels a study on bone marrow should commence as well. I’m sure even though completely separate the talk in the academic community if he molecule is to the point where further tests are warranted. The diabetes study in Alberta is part of the Edmonton Protocol which is not limited to Canada. There are hospitals in Georgia, Florida and elsewhere that are a part of the Edmonton Protocol. It’s interesting to see how many applications academic people are seeing.
