I agree with you that TPL could trade as high as $800 or even $1000 in
2018. However, this is so thinly traded that on any pullback, when "bids"
in the stock are pulled, the price can rapidly and sharply fall. TPL itself carries zero financial risk. There is no debt, they own 877,000
acres of surface land (with water rights) and of course royalty bearing
sub-surface acres. The big question is how high might TPL get to over the
next 10 years? Could it ever hit $10,000.00? Much will depend on what
management does with regard to the "full service" water business.
