Conceptually, galectin has a job to do, if too much (8) it removes too much and no improvement, if (2) it is like removing excess and the remaining amount as it is involved in inflammation which is connected to healing is sufficient to bring inflammation from force of destruction to healing. These are two faces of inflammation.
