BoA/ML opinion:

Our rating on JCPenney stock is Buy. We expect
strengthening comps to drive earnings upside and
free cash flow, allowing for debt repayment and
stock appreciation. We think JCP will drive
industry
-
leading same store sales growth, primarily
due to moves away from apparel, and margin
improvement as it fi
xes supply chain issues from a
prior management team.
