....i woke up this morning and like most mornings i had a few aches and pains but over all i felt pretty good. So i laid there and like most mornings my brain has to jump start and i start putting a few thoughts together as i try and clear the cob webs out of my head...that in itself is no easy task for me now a days. An older age thingy i suppose? And in that moment i once again come to realize that the good Lord had chosen to bless me with another day of life here on planet earth. So as i laid there clearing those cob webs im thinking. Here God has filled my lungs through the night with air and kept my heart beating along with all the other complex things that keeps our body functioning in healthy harmony. Im also thinking about how totally helpless we are as we sleep and all that God is doing for us to sustain our very life and protect us from so very much of the world around us. And as i slept thru the night totally oblivious to the world and even myself God has had His hand of protection upon me. And in these all so perfectly important life sustaining events i get this visual of God standing by my bed all night watching over me and waiting for me to awaken to walk and guide me through another day...just as any Father would their child...how awesome is that! Yes...once again God has seen fit to let me see the light of another day. However, many folks woke to pain, sickness, despair or death of a loved one this morning. Many people have left the calmness of yesterday and entered into a new challenge of a life altering event this morning that for some amount of time...maybe even a lifetime...things will never be the same. So my point...live life to the fullest...count each day as the blessing from God that it is. Dont take nothing for granted as today, tonight, can always be our last day of health or even life as we know it...and most importantly...know Jesus as Lord and Savior so when we take that last breath we will walk right into heaven for forever!
