Cole memo. Art of the Deal. Why did Session bring it up now ? My thinking is congress needs to pass something to protect the industry and the state tax revenue. Hard thing to accomplish. Trump and Republicans need a budget and a wall. Hard to accomplish. Congress now 51-48-1. Trump needs to pick off 9 or 10 dems to get to 60 votes . How ? Sessions mentions Cole memo, Blue states that have some type of MJ legal laws get upset. Outcome:Trump gets budget for military and wall, Dems get DOCA and Blue MJ states get something more and better than Cole amendment. With that scenario how many MJ democratic senators will sign off on the bill ? 9 or 10 ? Oh yeah , somehow there will be language in there for the Feds to take a cut of the taxes. ART OF THE DEAL !
