It was a great pleasure for the Mutual Safes team to meet with the Patriot One team at the ISC-West conference in Las Vegas. Our team had the opportunity to see the Patriot One technology work in person, as well as meet the technical staff behind this cutting-edge weapons detection system. We are excited to start the process of introducing the PATSCAN product into the South African and African markets. South Africa is unfortunately well known for its high levels of violent crime, which has in recent years migrated into the shopping mall environment. The Mutual Safes team believes that the Patriot One PATSCAN solution will perfectly integrate into the existing security systems (video recognition and control rooms) in these environments to ensure that the security staff are empowered with early warning information of persons carrying concealed weapons when entering the malls. Shopping malls however, are only one of many establishment’s where the PATSCAN solution will not only detect, but also deter criminals from entering due to the risk of being identified.
