The attached Information Statement is being delivered by MMEX Resources Corporation (the “Company” or “MMEX”) in connection with the approval by our shareholders of an amendment to our Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation to increase the authorized number of shares of Class A common stock from 3 billion to 10 billion shares (the “Share Increase”). The text of the proposed amendment is set forth as Annex A to this Information Statement.

 

This Information Statement is being mailed to the shareholders of record as of January 18, 2018. The Information Statement is first being mailed to shareholders on or about January __, 2018. We anticipate that the amendment to our Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation will become effective on or after February __, 2018.
