I believe there are CC fees involved when paying with a CC. These fees are usually passed on to the customer by increasing the price of goods. Glance pay will not have CC fees involved.

American Express has the highest fee and that is why you see many merchants not accepting AMX. Some merchants do not accept CC at all, which I cannot stand, and is pet peeve #9 on my list. There will be a transaction fee paid by the merchant. I welcome someone to prove that there is zero cost for a merchant to accept a Glance token.
