Role Summary:

The Quality Leader will lead the Quality function at Arcam EBM. This role will be seconded from GE to Arcam EBM.

Essential Responsibilities:

Over-all responsibility for all Quality activities within Arcam EBM
Safe guarding legal conformity of processes
Managing QMS-system
Coordinate quality activities at Arcam to reach the quality targets and to fulfill the requirements of ISO 9001
Align Quality Management System with GE Additive; establish, implement and maintain processes and procedures accordingly
Support Arcam’s organization in the on-going work to ensure that Arcam meets its quality standards
Planning and execution of audits (internal and external), including follow-up on corrective actions
Establishing a culture where we live according to our priorities “Safety, Quality, Deliveries and Economics and constantly are striving for continuous improvements
Support GE Production System at Arcam EBM
Leverage lessons learned and best practices across GE Additive
Integrate Brilliant Factory into the Quality approach
Preparing, conducting and follow-up company meetings within HSEQ (Kvalitetsråd, Skyddskommitte etc)
Functional and disciplinary responsibility for HSE-manager within Arcam EBM
Functional responsibility for Q-functions within Arcam EBM's different departments

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Experience in both quality assurance and quality control
Additional leadership experience in Quality in a manufacturing and engineering environment
Experience setting up quality management systems
Fluent in English
Desired Characteristics:
Experience with production systems
Six Sigma black belt certification or other equivalent training
ISO 9001 relevant experience, including internal auditing
Use of statistical process control and measurement systems analysis
Demonstrated expertise in identification, labeling and control of non-conforming products to prevent inadvertent use, delivery or processing
Sourcing experience and related processes such as supplier selection and monitoring, knowledge of supplier quality management and qualification
Cost of quality and understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Quality metrics and KPI measures
Vision for how to apply big data analytics and Brilliant Factory in quality system
Fluency in Swedish is an advantage
Bachelors degree in engineering or science
