We can hope for an announcement from Natcore in the next few days, but I'm not optimistic because of the prominent language in this announcement about "independently-developed". If NC doesn't get any direct benefit out of this, it is too bad because Natcore had a 6-year head start on everybody else with the announcement from NREL in Jan 2012, but they couldn't deliver in all that time. If there is a silver lining in this, at least the black silicon technology seems to be the place to be and allegedly, NC has a product pretty close to production-ready. Let's see what Scarpa or Provini have to say in the next few days.
