When a large successful Company views a small company's tech strategic

to their long term direction...


They run the numbers, do a comparative

cost analysis between developing the tech in-house vs acquiring the

tech already available (patents and all).

They throw in the target Company's existing debt (which is often

miniscule compared to starting from scratch both in cost and time) then

make a decision. Obviously E/P already likes the Tech.

That said, my concern is ASTI being aquired before they reach

their greater potential. But I'll take it over Bankruptcy
