It is not doomsday. Was it a bad day yesterday? Yes. Did people lose money yesterday? Yes. Can steps be taken to bounce back? Yes.

Here is what to do. Write your federal representatives and explain to them you are an investor in this industry. Tell them what you think and how you feel. I am in the process of writing every member of congress and my two senators in NY, and explaining in detail my stand on the events of today. I served in public office in Upstate NY for 12 years, I chose not to seek re-election to pursue other endeavors. Elected officials do get nervous when multiple people write to inform them of their dismay or frustrations.

Here are a couple of links to find representatives contact information:

I am for states rights such as allowing voters to choose if their state should have recreational cannabis. I am for personal liberty, those who have reached a certain age should have the right to use or not use cannabis. I am for capitalism and having the ability to make as much money as I want, others should have the right of prosperity as well. These are beliefs that I am willing to lay my life down for.

One thing I find odd about the whole situation is that stocks in this sector started plummeting Wednesday before the announcement. Hypothetical theory is that information was leaked from the DOJ to parties such as Kevin Sabet, who then began shorting stocks yesterday and continued to do the same today. It would hurt to contact your state attorney generals office or federal agency to inform them of this.

Well that sounds paranoid! Your only paranoid until your are proven right.
