Kudos to myeloablative autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) where Evomela/melphalan is used as the myeloablative part of the procedure. I previously posted how the procedure can induce multiple sclerosis remission/'cure'. Now a study came out showing that for people with severe scleroderma, it "can improve survival and quality of life, a life-threatening autoimmune disease". By a quick look at the prevalence of the disease that's another 50,000 pts who could use HSCT. What will it do for Evomela sales? Probably not much, or at least it will take awhile before used that way but nevertheless, pretty interesting.
