It's not the pot smokers they will go after, it is the hundreds of medical mj clinics and recreational storefronts that could potentially be impacted. It's already tough enough for these business with the mounds of regulatory paperwork and inability to deposit money into banks like normal small businesses can.
Sessions should have more important things in his plate at the moment. It's time for him to leave.
