I'm struggling to understand how anyone...I mean ANYONE would become a board member of a company without thoroughly and totally kicking the tires on the company. All the questions about "were they told this" or "were they aware of that" seem silly to me. Would you sign your name on the line and accept responsibility associated with a company without know the "sealed documents", the track record, the financials, the deals in play, the deal that were in play, the IP and it's full breadth of collaborations etc. etc. etc??
