Eugene Wright is lucky his daughter arrived before police turned him over to ICE to be deported back to Poland, or where ever they might have guessed Wrights come from. The medical center he was taken to was the same facility which filed the complaint.


ICE has already "deported" a number of US citizens even after checking their driver's licenses because they were not carrying their Birth Certificate or Passport.

By the time their family was notified and they obtained a copy of their family member's birth certificate or naturalization certificate, some had already been sent over the border. After you've been deported you face jail time for coming back.

The rule of law is no longer so important, so police feel they no longer have to humor complaining crazy people when they're arrested.
