I don't think the little elf Sessions will amount to anything because the States that have legalized it want it, have citizen support for it through their votes and the States need that $$$ that mj gives them. That money fills the coffers and we all know they can't stop their spending habits. It's like a gift from heaven for the States. The pressure would be extremely high in those States to do any kind of reversal from Obama era policies . Besides it's all politics and these guys are probably smoking it themselves imho.
