"As you have no doubt gleaned from following our progress over the past year, the telecommunications industry is a very established, highly integrated industry. As a group, they do not make changes easily or quickly. However, in light of the demand for changes that will be inflicted on that staid
industry as a result of the broadband revolution, those that are in that arena that can make decisions and adapt quickly will be the ones to thrive in the future. In both the equipment manufacturing and the service provider sectors, there are a handful of players with that aggressive visionary attitude. Those are the ones that will be the early adopters of our
technology. From all that we have learned about Qwest, they would have to be included in that visionary group."
