Would you agree that a default by not answering puts Tony at significant risk of losing on the merits without ever being able to assert a defense. That even if Tony can get the default set aside, it will cost the company additional legal fees. Last, if he even waits a month to try to set a default aside, the likelihood he can do it is very slim.

So, would it be fair to say that not answering Chouinard’s complaint is a serious screwup.
