Let’s assume for a moment that private equity funding will be sealed with shares. Price will be determined as of certain closing price on a certain date in the contract. Wouldn’t you want to suppress the price and get more shares for satisfy the dollar amount in the contract? Also, would you think that those that agreed to the funding are aware of the current share structure. Thinking is free, but many tent not to use it.
