Another New Years resolution is to stop buying older shell's, after what happened recently in AIKO and ZPCM, it just isn't worth it any more. You wait years for these things to do something, then they turn around and screw over all the existing shareholders with large reverse splits, it's frustrating to say the least. No share structure or insider ownership % is safe with these things any longer, they have no qualms whatsoever about decimating the old shareholders so there is no sense in buying them.

With new issue there is no worry about a reverse split, your much more likely to see a forward split if anything.

I mean, AIKO a 50:1 reverse with 8.6M o/s and 1.5M float...really...what a bunch of idiots. It was illiquid for years before the r/s, and now it has a 170K o/s and 29K float...what a joke. Be lucky if it trades a few thousand shares all year.

They could have just issued the merging company 50M shares and they would have had 90%+ ownership, a tradeable float and not left a bunch of disgruntled shareholders.
