Can anyone explain the swing from 2.99 to 2.75 end of day?

Also curious about what the cause of the swing may have been last week when it was 3.50 and swung low to 2.35?

I had assumed market manipulation, or perhaps tax purposes, or perhaps that the company wanted to accumulate mass treasury stock at low price, or perhaps that they company wanted a lower value for year end...

Trying to expand my mind and enlighten my neurons.
