5/11/2006 A major company will partner with CVX/XOM in Block 1. Clues have been given that will identify same (I believe it to be Shell or BP). ERHC will either be acquired or sell a major interest.
CVX/XOM has advanced their Block 1 plans to include further exploration/production after expiration of the lease on 'Deepwater Discovery' drillship. Shell (or less likely, BP) will likely partner up with CVX/XOM in further Block 1 exploration and may provide the drillship - FPSO. Another JDZ player is going to be bought out. OBO-2 is closer to Block 4 than people realize.
