By the way... any talk of tilting a VAWT is pure nonsense. The stress on the shaft would tear it apart if it is not precisely balanced.
The WindCutter is only a 1.5kW VAWT that generates about $200 of energy a year. Who is going to pay $30,000 installed for that? They have advertised it for sale since June and supposedly sold only one. The one at the raceway was not sold as there was no revenue booked from it. Don't know if the Fogo Island one was ever paid for. Doesn't sound like it got installed. They might have found out Sauer lied about being certified as they tried to get their installation permit.
They are out of cash with no way to raise more. Dieter and Ana gave themselves millions of dollars with nothing to show for it. They just want this to go away now before they get any more scrutiny for the fraud they committed. This isn't just a failed business. The blatant, verifiable lies prove a criminal intent.
