Sure just like the example given. When HJOE trades again the shareholders will do extremely well. While any short positions in HJOE will spend the time between now and then wondering just how much they will owe when HJOE trades again. They will wait for the courtesy margin call from their brokers but the $ amounts involved will be so large the brokers will simply liquidate all their holdings leaving large balances due from the short positions. And I guess at some point they will sue in court for the balances due from those short positions.
