Big K--you trade alot more than I, but I quit SL orders when my stock (TOMO) dove from about 24 to 23.15 shortly after the opening and went immediately back to 24, closed at 24.15 on the day. Looked like EYES saw my order and stole it. Would have been stopped out 2 days later anyway. I had another before TOMO like it. Seems disasters happen after the close anyway and stops won't help, but daily monitoring has worked for me since. The way you do it, you are probably watching hourly, and I have made some bad intra-day decisions there too. Answer of your question--I don't know!!!
