The more you buy, the less it costs... Some companies, such as Cosco or Heartland may be buying large quantities at say $250.00/piece and mark it up 20% to give you approximately $299.00...
Others may buy lesser quantities and pay, say $275.00, but they mark it up 80%, as there is no imposed retail price... Eventually, the Market will reduce the differences and you may find a high price of $399.00 and a low of $299.00 in a few months...
Price other goods at various retail places and you'll find that this is the case right across the board...
