My son went to work at my sister's restaurant in Canada 4 years ago.

He opened a bank account to deposit his paychecks.

After his summer of working he emptied the bank account except for 200 bucks at my suggestion. Then he got another 200 bucks tax return into the account.

It was a SAVINGS account. But at some point after he turned 18 the bank started charging the account to death with monthly charges.

My sister got a letter from the bank the other day (she has a proxi on the account) telling her that the account is overdrawn 15.82 bucks.
