I think Lincoln Park Financial plus a few larger retails represented that selling from the highs in the $8s.
I do not think company insiders are involved in any fraud. Zero, Ziltch.
Financiers... not frauds, just prudent selling on silly pops on well engineered press releases. *I also know of around 150K-200K worth of retail shares that investors dumped after $7.50s didn't hold and we opened under $6.00 the next day. many of these shares were sold at a loss from LONG term holds. They basically finally said "enough is enough, I'll book a loss here against gains elsewhere and never come back to this POS company"
what that last PR should have said was
"Fantastic News!! Data rocks ( which it did ).. Bad news is we didn't get a satisfactory offer which represented value to legacy share holders so we decided to give interested parties ($MON) more time to do critical testing on core cash crops ( Soybean ).
In the meantime, we are pretty stuffed for any cash and will BK if we don't find some soon. So we are going to do a raise"
fast forward a week they should have said
"Sorry folks, we really tried hard and pursued every possible avenue for financing operations over the next year. Unfortunately, we are down to the wire and had to accept this crappy dilution, warrants, deal. Our only hope is that we pull a low % bet CRISPR discovery out of the bag over the next year. If we do, We will back over $10 in no time. If not, sorry folks but think $4-$6 is about as high as you can ever expect an offer from $MON to be."
But of course, even if someone in the company wanted to be that honest; Financiers would not fathom this sort of transparency

the new Share structure. It's ~Toxic IMO
you never know how far it's gonna go and when the run is going to end. So sell whole way up, hang onto 25%-40% and then you see the weakness begin. dump the rest 10%-20% off the top.
