Oh for pete's sake - mm's don't accumulate stock. They are broker dealers, and it is illegal for them to trade.
What you call MM's manipulation is actually shareholders. All the mm's do is match buyers and sellers. But everyone needs someone to blame.
You all realize that mm's work via fully automated systems, and no person is ever looking at the share price, right? Buys come in, sells come in, and the fastest algorithms get the deal, and the profit. They are in a dog fight with each other.
There is no guy in a tinfoil hat in a sweatshop toiling over sub penny stocks on his laptop, trying to eke out a case of beer. It just doesn't happen, and if people would only CONSIDER how the work is done, they would forget about mm manipulation.
