A company that may have a lot of potential, but needs lots of work.
1) Looking at their website, that is needed of a do over.
2) If you look on the internet, a lot of information about the nut, but QEDN is not anywhere near the top of the list with google search. Which kind of tells me that they are not the big player in this "super food" niche. It tells me that and it should any investor that's looking into the company.
3) Keeping it in the family? Looking at the "our story", 4 family members. And it looks like the person in charge of the website and social media is still in junior high. The director of the program in Colombia - really, that's the best picture that comes out? If I'd seen her coming my way, I'd have turn around and run.
4) Interesting they're going to USAID ti get some financing for their business. I always feel, if the government says their going to help you out - watch out, they are not the best business partners.
Reading through the grant request to USAID, very poorly written - misspellings, poor punctuation and the request itself was poorly done.
This from people with MBA's and previous business experience?
They do a live presentation, they'd be kicked out within 15 minutes - poorly organized presentation.
When you're your requesting millions, you'd better have your act together.
Who's got a contact at this company?
They really need to look at the way they present themselves.
The latest video - who's going to invest in the company?
Spanish speaking people or English speaking people?
Not knocking the guy for speaking Spanish, but it would have been wise to either have a voce over or a person walking with the farmer to explain what is going on in the video.
Why work at becoming a "verified company" with such poorly done support on their internet site?
I see potential, a good business that benefits farmers - which is unique and great.
But, the presentation on why any large company or large investor should seriously look at this company is very poorly done.
I'd work hard on that before any press releases.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
