After waiting for an extended period of time investors become impatient for good news and an upswing. Human nature especially when we've been sitting on an overall downtrend. We also begin to wax on about further increases, such as, this stock will go to $50 in 2018.

One of my rules for trading is, have an 'in' and 'out' for every play regardless of what you hope and dream of for the particular stock. If your 'out' is $50, great! Hold on until then. If it's not and you simply want to see $3, then it doesn't matter if it goes to $50.

Dream. It's fun and affords beautiful sedans in your driveway, and mansions in upper New York State. But be rooted too and very clear on your goals.
