Its all about continuing operations ASAP - buying a shell is a quicker way to get in the US becoming a public traded entity / symbol / not going to be shut down by the govt ....

Lets face it they are giving Canoe a ton of prefereds (as they should) to lure them -facilitate this merger ..... they can use those to finance setting US mine(s) up ....

Its of little risk / cost to Canoe to get this setup ...ship some existing hardware over here (inside podwerks pods maybe - lol) ,purchase domain names , setup the severs , flip the switch on miners and the miners in the network and you are up and running....

around 12-16 I think it was Canoe began mining again - from what location - I dont know -but they definitely shut ops down for awhile and in my opinion relocated somewhere indicating that move out of China....
