I certainly understand your concerns J_Dean. I'm buying so many shares because of the improved profit potential that has been created by the relentless naked shorting this stock has endured. I'm encouraged by the fact Hellix that hasn't been delisted by the TSX by now. If they didn't still legally exist I am assuming they would be pulled off the exchange. Even if they got delisted it doesn't mean we lose our stock. Someone still owns that property and there isn't any available formal documentation that shows it has changed hands. Hellix may simply be hoping to dissuade the public from buying any more stock which is their legal puragative as long as they stay within the bounds of the rules. If true, they might be hoping to buy back a lot of outstanding shares at some point in the future. Not a nice way to treat the strong hands holding this stock but the fleas come with the dog. The biggest point Bob made about Hellix is that it was debt free. It might be that their existing revenue stream is sufficient to complete their plans for this property. Maybe they have a potential buyer waiting in the wings that's going to commit the capital necessary to develop this property. The amount of outstanding shares could be an important factor on deciding whether to acquire it or not. If anyone knows better, please post as all the above is pure speculation on my part. When this stock dropped below .25 per share 4 years ago I stopped buying and converted all my shares to certificate form held in my possession. I stored the certificates expecting them to continue dropping in value and forgot about them. There is now a DTC chill on Hellix which prevents the exchange from converting shares to cert form until it is lifted. Earlier this year I was curious if Hellix was still trading on the TSX. I saw what was happening and made the decision to buy as much as I could at .07 or lower as long as the ridiculous the naked shorting continued. The risk / reward ratio I perceived at that time was acceptable to me. Next week if you see a continuation in buying it probably won't be me. It has been a nice run and time for me to sit back and let someone else do the heavy lifting per se, if that someone even exists. My sole purpose in responding was to explain my rationale for buying and holding this stock, not for personal gain or promotion of Hellix. Best wishes to you...
