I am a very realistic engineer. I try very hard to be accurate, not over, or under shoot. I am NOT trying to be a downer and I am NOT trying to blow smoke. It IS 12 wells, that was true in the PEA and the final study. They each punp 1000 GPM. The line to the river is designed for 12000 GPM continous, 15000 peak. I am on board with Big Al. You need to be honest about what is required. Blow smoke now and the stock price suffers later. The footprint of the plant is one section (a mile by a mile.) I do not know for certain but am guessing that the wells will be in a circle about a mile diameter. That IS how you de-water. 12 wells in a 1 mile diameter circle is 1/2 mile of pipe per well times 12 wells. I DID NOT include the 1000 feet of pipe in each well. Thst would be another 2 miles +/- of pipe. The pressure near the bottom of these wells will be around 500 PSI. That will NOT be HDPE pipe.

BTW: it may not be Niocoro's responsibility, but the gas line to the plant will also be 8 or 10 inch pipe and is another 20-30 miles of pipe.

This is a BIG project. It will not happen overnight or in one year. However, IMHO, if it happens on schedule and on budget, the stock will do fine. Blow a bunch of smoke now and then fall behind schedule or over budget and it will not be good.

Big Al: I am friends with a guy that worked on sub-stations for OPPD. He helped build the Aurora sub station. It is 171 KV. OPPD does not use 131KV, only 69, 171, and 345. The info on hiring an Engineering company to complete the design is based on OPPD board meeting minutes. The feasibility study says there will be a 171/13.8 kv transformer at the mine end of the line and distribution at mine will be 13.8. And yeah-they will need a lot of 13.8/440 transformers. .
