For real grass. I was making some rough numbers on crazy buying gifts in the family and then I guessed average holiday spending per person.

About $200 spent per person minimum.

There are 240 million adults in US. If half of that buys $200 in gifts it's 24 billion in sales. At the very least.

I bet average was at least $500 per adult person with purchasing power.
That's 70 B in sales. Not counting ppl who bought cars, I phones, trips, etc.

Even the dog got like $50 worth in presents. What an American dog life!!!
