Buying options makes no sense at all, it is the opposite of smart money. If they finish out of the money 80% of the time, it means that sellers win 4 out of 5 times, so why not sell them instead?

If you were in a casino playing a game of chance and you were told that with that particular game the house wins 4 out of 5 times, would you continue playing?
