As required by USDA to progress from conditional licensure to full licensure, Aratana plans to conduct an extended field study in a clinical setting and anticipates initiating the study in early 2018.

So what additional measures will be required by the Agriculture Department of a therapeutic cancer vaccine while people's large dogs die of cancer? Perhaps full moon ceremonies at midnight expressing homage to the Agriculture overseers?

Decades ago, the veterinary division of the FDA had the usual abbreviated clinical trial for a therapeutic vaccine for horse cancers [actually a lonesome vaccine adjuvant consisting of detoxified bacterial skeletons ancestral to Paterson's attenuated live bacteria) submitted by Ribi Immunochem Research. I was messaged by a lady years laterwhose retired racehorse was still enjoying life in the pasture.

This is beyond obscene.

Today cancer is the single greatest killer of dogs. It needs no help from bureaucrats.
